Introducing a New Podcast Miniseries: Wizard Jail!

Welcome to Wizard Jail – a limited run series from Director’s Club, Tracks of the Damned, and 96 Greers podcast host/co-host/co-creator Patrick Ripoll and myself where we talk about, what else, but the 1987 syndicated cartoon series Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light. Why would we do this? Well, in classic mad scientist fashion, we were so preoccupied with whether we could, we didn’t stop to question whether we should. And now, there’s nothing to stop us. Will this be the dawning of a new Age of Magic or did not enough people watch this show when it originally aired, thus relegating this podcast to the same obscure fate? 

In episode one (of, let’s say, somewhere between seven and nine), our courageous Spectral Knights talk about the genesis of the series, its cast & crew, and the first of the 13 episodes that made it to air. The current plan is to release two episodes per month and, following this rather long introduction, those episodes to come in around 60 to 90 minutes.

Don't worry, Genre Grinder isn't taking a break. This did take up a lot of my time in August, but the reason their wasn't an August episode was that the planned guest host has ongoing health problems.
