Greetings everyone and welcome to the Genre Grinder Patreon. My webpage and podcast audio hosting fees have gone up recently and I'm struggling a bit to continue operating out-of-pocket. It's not to the point where I'm considering stopping, but I thought it might be worth checking to see if regular listeners and readers might be interested in helping out. I've set up three donation tiers and, as of now, they will feature the same benefits, because, frankly, I don't think I have a lot to offer in terms of extras.
My ideas as of now include (and this text will be copy/pasted elsewhere on the page):
Additional Blu-ray screencaps – I don't review everything I'm sent, but I do take multiple screencaps from every 1080p disc I get and most of these end up just sitting on my laptop.
Early episodes – Listen to episodes a couple of days early. If enough people are interested, I can even include the pre-edited versions of some episodes a couple of days earlier than that.
Up to date information on future episodes, Blu-ray/4K UHD reviews, and essays – I usually don't announce any of my plans, simply because they tend to be in flux, especially where lining up guests is concerned, but I will do my best to include updates as plans are made and/or changed.
